Senior Medical Statistician & DPhil Student

Melanie is a Medical Statistician at the Oxford Vaccine Group with experience of clinical trials in vaccinology, women's reproductive health, obstetrics and neonatal research. She also has experience in epidemiology in cardiovascular research using linked electronic health data and Biobank data. She holds a BSc in Mathematics and MSc in Biometry. She joined the team in 2020 and is currently involved in COVID, typhoid fever and pregnancy vaccine trials. Her current research interests include understanding the associations between reactogenicity following vaccination, immune responses and genetics.
