Anna Barton

Research Nurse

Adult Clinical Research Nurse

I did my SRN training in London and went on to staff nurse in gynae-theatre.

My first career change was a Cordon Bleu cookery course and two winter seasons as a Chalet Girl in the French/Swiss Alps. I then moved to Scotland and set up my own Catering Company.

I revalidated my nursing in the early ‘Noughties ’and went into School Nursing, in private schools both Boarding and Day.

I moved back to London and got a job at the Medical Unit of the United States Embassy. A fascinating and amazing experience to work for the US government under the hugely popular President Obama.
