Finance manager

My responsibilities include managing the day-to-day purchase to pay finance functions within the department.

This focusses on purchasing, accounts payable, expense claims, accounts receivable, recharge journals, credit card reconciliations, banking and petty cash transactions. I carry out month end and year end responsibilities, oversee fixed assets and delegation of authority register and create Standard Operating Processes. Alongside the Senior Finance Manager, I work to ensure the finance department adheres to robust financial guidelines and complies with sound financial management and stability.

I have previously held a variety of accountancy and finance roles in both the public and private sectors before joining the Department of Paediatrics in May 2020.
