Neonatal Research Nurse
Sheula Barlow joined the South Central Children’s Research (SoCCR) group in June 2011. Her role is to work with the paediatric research team in setting up, undertaking and promoting research studies on the Neonatal Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital. She qualified as a children’s nurse in 1995. She worked on children’s wards until 1999 when she took a role on a neonatal unit. She loved neonates so much she stayed for 10 years. After such a long time nursing premature and sick babies, she took the job with SoCCR, to help investigate better and more effective ways of caring for these vulnerable babies.
