MenB 220030 Study
Help us move MenB prevention research forward
Join a clinical study researching a meningitis booster vaccine in children and young adults
The MenB 220030 Study is looking at a vaccine that is already available in your country to help prevent meningitis in children and teenagers. This study wants to see:
- how safe the vaccine (called the ‘study vaccine’) is and how well it works to help prevent meningitis in healthy children, teenagers, and young adults when given as a booster dose
- if a booster dose of the study vaccine works better than the initial vaccinations alone.
We are looking for people to take part in this study who:
- are 10–20 years of age and
- have received the meningitis vaccine before
or
- have never received the meningitis vaccine.
About the MenB 220030 Study
The study vaccine is recommended as part of immunisation plans to prevent meningitis B in children. The study will last for about 1 month, and participants will have 2 visits to the study centre. There will be no cost for the study vaccines, health assessments, and medical tests.
An Institutional Review Board (IRB)/Ethics Committee (EC) has reviewed this study. An IRB/EC protects the rights, safety, and well-being of study participants.
