Free 2-day Training Event for general practice nurses and health professionals new to immunisation practice who administer / promote / advise about vaccines in the Thames Valley. Funding for this event is from NHS England through Health Education England.

- Content and course length is based on the Public Health England National Minimum Standards and core curriculum for immunisation training for registered healthcare practitioners.

- Content focuses on both the adult and paediatric immunisation programmes and policy.

- Content provides the theoretical component of training for up to 40 delegates.    

- Delegates need to identify a mentor who can support work-based learning, development of their immunisation practice and assessment of their competency.
