


Registration
IIC 2026 will be held as a three-day physical meeting, with a possibility of virtual participation. The Organising Committee strongly encourage attending the physical meeting if at all possible.
In person registration is now open & virtual registration will open on 1st February 2026.
The in-person registration fee includes:
- all lectures, debate, case rounds & IIC Quiz
- all refreshment breaks and lunches
- the 4 course Conference Dinner on Wednesday 24th June
- access to the course app
The registration fee does not include accommodation and travel.
All fees quoted are for HCPs working in medicine / research. Those from industry wishing to register should contact iic@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations should be made by emailing iic@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined at the time of booking. A refund will be given for cancellations up until one month before the meeting, less a 10% administration charge. No refund can be given for cancellations made within one month of the meeting, nor are there refunds for no-shows.
Members of ESPID, BPAIIG and PIDS are eligible for a reduction in fees. We strongly recommend that you become a member of ESPID for all the benefits this brings. Join ESPID now.
Abstracts
Delegates are able to submit abstracts to be available for viewing and comment in the course app.
Abstracts should be submitted to the course organiser at iic@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk by 1 April 2026 at the latest. You will be advised of the outcome within a month of submission.
Submission guidelines:
- The abstract should not exceed 250 words in total and must be structured into separate sections.
- The following format for the individual abstract should be used:
- Title not exceeding 16 words
- Authors and affiliations including contact details for the presenting author
- Background & Research question including context and purpose of the study
- Methods* including rational why a particular method was chosen to answer the research question
- Results* can be ranging from work in progress, to preliminary data, to more conclusive results
- Conclusion including problems encountered and expectations for future results and work
- Indicate the category and choose from the following options: clinical audit/case report or case series/literature review/clinical trial/basic science/systematic review
- *if a case or case series is presented, the methods and results can be changed to Case description(s)
- Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears the first time.
- Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.
