A free half-day Immunisation update training for General Practice Nurses and other registered healthcare practitioners who administer/advise about immunisations in the Thames Valley.

 

-  Content focuses on both the adult and paediatric immunisation programmes and policy

- Course content and  length is based on the Public Health England National Minimum Standards and core curriculum for immunisation training for registered healthcare practitioners

-  Programme will cover:

    §  Current issues in immunisation

    §  Changes to current/new immunisation programmes and legislation          

    §  Recent epidemiology of vaccine preventable disease

    §  Review of current programmes (excluding travel vaccines)
