Many congratulations to Yama Farooq Mujadidi, DPhil student and Clinical Trials IT & Development Lead at the Oxford Vaccine Group, who has been awarded the prize for Individual Excellence by the Association for Clinical Data Management.

Yama, won one of only three award categories at the Association's Annual Awards ceremony in Copenhagen on 4th March. He has been part of the team at the Oxford Vaccine Group since June 2013 when he joined to develop an application based on the vaccine knowledge project. Yama currently oversees IT and data management for the group, directing teams to support vaccine research projects within and beyond the University of Oxford. 

Parvinder Aley OBE, Director of Global Operations for the Oxford Vaccine Group, said, "We are really pleased that Yama’s work has been recognised in this way. The team at OVG, overseen by Yama, manage large amounts of complex clinical trial data. Yama’s work and innovative thinking ensures we maintain the highest operational standards in clinical data management and ensures real time impact of research in the global public health setting."
