BIO
I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and a Master's degree in Clinical Trials. I began my career as a hospital pharmacist before moving into regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry a role that involved medicines regulation, compliance and the processes that underpin the development and approval of safe and effective medicines.
I later transitioned to academia, where I manage medicines and vaccine clinical trials, with experience in maternal, child health, and vaccine research.
My professional interests are centred on regulatory science and the design, implementation, and delivery of clinical trials in high, middle and low income settings. Currently, my work focuses on ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, robust data integrity, and the delivery of research programmes within budget and to agreed timelines, while supporting capacity strengthening and sustainable research infrastructure.
I am also passionate about advancing equitable access to clinical research and healthcare innovations through global collaboration and capacity building.
