Oisín Hennigan

Oisín received his medical degree from the University of Galway and completed specialist training in Infectious Diseases and General Internal Medicine in Ireland. He joined the Oxford Vaccine Group in 2024 as a Clinical Research Fellow and is currently undertaking a DPhil at St Cross College, Oxford. His research focuses on the evaluation of typhoid and paratyphoid vaccine candidates through controlled human infection models, and on identifying correlates of protection for Salmonella Paratyphi.
