Claire Jones
Project Manager
I obtained a BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology at St. Andrews University before studying for a PhD in Immunology at the Wellcome Trust Biocentre, University of Dundee. Following graduation, I was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster (Germany) where I worked on my first clinical study describing a novel type of macrothrombocytopenia associated with a defect in sialylation. Since joining OVG in 2008 I have been involved with several projects including meningococcal B vaccine development and the typhoid challenge/vaccine studies.
